Lady Gaga Performs At Children In Need Charity Event & Opens Up Workshop all in one week. Lady Gaga decided that she will take the stage to perform for those who are in need of real help. The Children In Need Rocks Manchester 2011 event took place on November 17th at the The Manchester Evening News Arena venue. Lady Gaga dressed up in her usual style, but nothing over the top. She posed for pictures backstage with other performers such as Coldplay.
Lady Gaga performed her hit songs “Born This Way” and “Marry the Night.” Before she took the stage she tweeted about her excitement via Twitter, “Just a few hours until my Children In Need performance! Can’t wait! Lacing up my boots! #MarryTheNightPrelude” She later then posted up a link of her performance on her YouTube account with the following message, “Watch here, my performance of BORN THIS WAY + MARRY THE NIGHT at CHILDREN IN NEED”
Today Lady Gaga was seen leaving her the hotel she was staying at wearing a extremely puffy dress made by Chanel. She was also seen posing with her fellow fans aka “Little Monsters” and then headed off to the nearby Barneys department store. Letting her fans know about her whereabouts the songstress tweeted, “Getting ready for the opening of GAGA’S WORKSHOP at BARNEY’S in NY tonight! Wearing custom CHANEL by Karl Lagerfield. #PinchMeMom #OhEmGee”
Tonight Lady Gaga also made an appearance at the International Emmy Awards in New York City. She never misses an opportunity to make an appearance for her fans. Lady Gaga was wearing a long black dress with a very high slit that revealed her upper thigh tattoo. The slit left very little to the imagination. Lady Gaga also presented the International Emmy Founders Award to Nigel Lythgoe, the man who is the executive producer of “So You Think You Can Dance” and “American Idol.” She also shared a few words about Lythgoe stating she thanks him for “all the early opportunities he gave me to perform on TV” as well as adding about his $140 million charity contributions through The Dizzy Feet Foundation and Idol Gives Back.
